Completion Engineer (Drilling & Completions)
The Completion Engineer will assist in the following areas relating to completion design and production technology:

• Assist with the development of the final completion design including equipment specification and selection for WHP-B;
• Review completion performance to identify the effectiveness of designs;
• Work offshore to carry out the completion programme;
• Identify and develop solutions to produced water related issues;
• Assist with the development of conceptual completion designs;
• Completion and DST AFE generation;
• Programme and supervise DST s;
• Appraisal of new technology.

Qualifications:

• Petroleum/Mechanical engineering degree;
• At least 5 years of completion engineering and well testing experience including expertise in high angle & horizontal well completions, nodal analysis, tubing stress analysis and work with corrosive reservoir fluids;
• Knowledge of reservoir engineering principles;
• A proven track record in implementing innovate and practical completion designs and production technology solutions which have maximised productivity and added value whilst minimising cost;
• A high degree of computer literacy;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to prioritise demanding work loads;
• A proven track record of managing workovers to achieve added production/value;
• The successful candidate should be self-motivated, with a clear focus on the value that completion design and production technology can bring to the company;
• The position is onshore-based. Operational office located in Jakarta but frequent offshore visits are expected.

Nationality: Indonesian Qualification: Secondary school or Technical institute with certificates for a diving team Job Summary: The diving team MUST have experience in underwater inspection and maintenance works in a power plant, including seawater intakes in very noisy environment, and must have the following skills: using surface supply diving equipment, including KMB helmets, underwater video & still photography, hydrojet water blasting and cleaning, using hydraulic tools, cutting and welding, maintenance of diving equipment, grouting, salvaging, and general underwater construction activities.

However, the most important criteria is experience in diving services in power plants as some divers don’t like working in power plants due to the high level of underwater noise and vibration. Also, the divers must have a high awareness of safety issues.

BACKGROUND
Poverty reduction is the highest development priority of the Government of Indonesia. The National Community Empowerment Program or Program Nasional Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Mandiri (PNPM-Mandiri) is one of the main poverty reduction programs of the Government. The work of the Poverty Team is a complement to the programmatic focus of PNPM by providing an analytical overview of poverty and strategic inputs for programmatic direction to assist pro-poor growth.

The Government of Indonesia faces many challenges that threaten the success of on-going efforts to reduce poverty due to weak public service institutions, global shocks such as fuel and commodity prices and the recent financial crisis. The Government of Indonesia continues to look to the World Bank for policy and technical support and support to build the capacity of its public institutions. It seeks assistance to address these challenges and deliver results.

The new Country Partnership Strategy FY2009 –FY2012 has a strong focus on institutional capacity building and a refocus on client based approaches to all engagement areas including the poverty reduction work program.

The work of the Poverty Team will be supported under the PNPM Support Facility (PSF) Trust Fund. A Poverty digest has been created and the Dutch Government has provided the World Bank with a child trust fund to assist the Government of Indonesia (GoI) to focus on poverty reduction, inform policy formulation, and improves data quality, target capacity building activities that builds institutions and a focus on regional/local government poverty evaluation and monitoring activities. The World Bank has used part of this assistance to create a multi-disciplinary Poverty Team with a four year work program.

SCOPE OF WORK
The Consultant will be working as a port of the Poverty Team with the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management (PREM) group in the World Bank Office Jakarta. The primary objective of the Consultant is to work as a researcher and team member on the analysis, dialogue and development of the Poverty Team outputs.  The Consultant will work under the supervision of economist(s) in the Poverty Team and will report to the Poverty Task Team Leader.
